Village Halls

This brochure brings together community venues from across Kymenlaakso, featuring spaces suitable for both large celebrations and smaller gatherings. In addition to village halls, the brochure includes community houses and other shared spaces maintained by associations. Most of the venues featured rely primarily on rental income, and therefore we hope this booklet will serve both event organizers and venue managers — and, through them, support the vitality of Kymenlaakso’s villages.

The material for this booklet on community gathering spaces and event venues was compiled by Kymenlaakson Kylät ry in 2024. The venue holders themselves provided the information and photos of their locations, which were then edited and designed into booklet form by Kymenlaakson Kylät ry. The publication was designed by Taikasipuli.
